Senior Information Security Consultant

About the Role

Our client is looking for a seasoned and strategic Senior Information Security Consultant to guide their security strategy and implementation efforts in Bradford . This role involves advising on best practices, assessing current security capabilities, and designing robust solutions to protect the organization against sophisticated threats. You will work closely with senior management and technical teams to embed security into the business fabric, ensuring compliance and mitigating risks effectively. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth security assessments, including risk analysis, threat modeling, and compliance reviews.
• Develop and present strategic security recommendations and roadmaps to executive leadership and technical stakeholders.
• Design and oversee the implementation of advanced security solutions and controls to address identified risks.
• Lead security projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to scope, budget, and quality standards.
• Advise on security architecture, policies, and procedures to ensure alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Stay current with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security technologies to provide proactive and effective guidance.

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in information security, with a significant portion in consulting or advisory roles.
• Proven track record of successfully advising organizations on complex security challenges.
• Deep understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, governance, risk, and compliance (GRC).
• Expertise in security architecture, cloud security, and data protection strategies.
• Strong project management and client-facing communication skills.
• Relevant advanced certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent are required.
