Senior Infrastructure Engineer

About the Role

Our client seeks an experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join their distinguished team in Sheffield . This role involves leading the design and implementation of major infrastructure projects, ensuring they are sustainable, efficient, and meet the highest engineering standards. You will play a key part in project development, from feasibility studies through to construction oversight, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and engineering of complex infrastructure systems, including water, wastewater, and transportation networks.
• Conduct feasibility studies, site assessments, and impact analyses for new developments.
• Prepare detailed design reports, drawings, specifications, and tender documentation.
• Oversee project execution, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and client requirements.
• Manage project budgets and timelines, coordinating with contractors and stakeholders.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance throughout project lifecycles.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Significant experience (8+ years) in infrastructure engineering design and project management.
• Expertise in relevant design software (e.g., Civil 3D, InfoWorks) and analysis techniques.
• Deep understanding of UK infrastructure policy, environmental regulations, and construction best practices.
• Proven leadership and project management capabilities.
