Senior Infrastructure Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly capable and experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join their multidisciplinary team in Oxford . This hybrid role involves leading the design and development of essential infrastructure projects, balancing office-based technical work with essential site engagement and client meetings. You will play a critical role in shaping the future of development in the region, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, sustainably, and to the highest technical standards. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and management of complex infrastructure projects, including drainage, utilities, and access roads.
• Conduct detailed site assessments, feasibility studies, and prepare comprehensive technical reports.
• Develop and review project designs, specifications, and contract documents.
• Ensure all designs comply with relevant planning policies and environmental regulations.
• Collaborate effectively with clients, local authorities, and project stakeholders in both virtual and in-person settings.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Chartered Engineer (CEng) with MICE or equivalent professional qualification.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in infrastructure engineering design and project delivery.
• Proven expertise in drainage design, flood risk assessment, and highway access design.
• Proficiency with Civil 3D , PDS, AutoCAD, and relevant hydraulic modelling software.
• Strong understanding of UK development processes, planning regulations, and Building Regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
