Senior Infrastructure Engineer – Leeds (Hybrid)

We are looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join our Leeds team.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical delivery of highways and drainage designs across a broad range of development projects, from feasibility through to construction.
• Produce and review drawings, calculations and technical reports including Drainage Strategies, Flood Risk Assessments and associated design documentation.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary design teams and manage project programmes, supporting client relationships and identifying opportunities to add value.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and technicians, overseeing the quality of project delivery.
• Contribute to design reviews, challenge technical solutions where appropriate, and ensure projects are delivered efficiently, commercially and safely.
• Continue developing technical and leadership skills through CPD, training and professional development, with support towards Chartership.

Qualifications

• Approximately seven years of experience in UK development infrastructure design, with expertise in highways and drainage engineering.
• Strong ability to produce technical reports, coordinate designs and communicate effectively with clients, local authorities, statutory undertakers and multidisciplinary teams.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D and industry‑standard drainage design software such as MicroDrainage or InfoDrainage is advantageous.
• Proactive approach to solving engineering challenges.
