Senior Infrastructure Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join their remote-first team, with a significant focus on projects developing within Oxfordshire and surrounding regions. This role is instrumental in leading the design and delivery of complex infrastructure projects, including transportation networks, utilities, and public realm developments. You will be responsible for providing technical leadership, managing multi-disciplinary teams, and ensuring the successful implementation of sustainable and resilient infrastructure solutions. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the technical design and delivery of large-scale infrastructure projects, encompassing roads, highways, water, and wastewater systems.
• Develop strategic infrastructure plans and master plans in collaboration with clients and planning authorities.
• Manage and mentor a team of infrastructure engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of technical excellence.
• Oversee the preparation of design documentation, tender packages, and construction phase support.
• Ensure all infrastructure designs comply with relevant national standards, environmental regulations, and safety protocols.
• Engage with stakeholders, including government agencies, utility providers, and developers, to facilitate project progress and approvals.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in infrastructure engineering, with a strong track record of project leadership.
• In-depth knowledge of transportation design, drainage systems, and utility coordination.
• Proficiency in using advanced infrastructure design software such as Civil 3D , InfraWorks , and GIS platforms.
• Exceptional project management, leadership, and communication skills, suitable for a remote leadership role.
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) status with a relevant professional body is highly preferred.
