About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Infrastructure Project Manager to lead critical infrastructure projects in the Wolverhampton area, operating on a hybrid basis. You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of complex projects, from initial planning and stakeholder engagement through to successful completion and handover. This role demands exceptional leadership, strategic planning, and a deep understanding of the civil engineering project lifecycle. You will manage project teams, budgets, and timelines, ensuring alignment with client objectives and regulatory requirements, working within a company that values innovation and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of major infrastructure projects.
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, budget, timeline, and resource allocation.
- Manage and motivate project teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Liaise with clients, government agencies, and other stakeholders to manage expectations and ensure project alignment.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure all projects are delivered in compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in project management within the civil infrastructure sector.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with UK infrastructure development regulations and practices.
