Senior Installation Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Installation Engineer to lead and execute complex equipment installation projects. This role offers a hybrid work arrangement , balancing on-site project leadership with remote planning and coordination. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire installation process, from initial planning and site assessment to final commissioning and handover, ensuring adherence to the highest quality and safety standards. This is a critical position for driving project success and mentoring junior members of the installation and maintenance team in the Plymouth area.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage complex equipment installation projects from start to finish.
• Develop detailed installation plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies.
• Conduct on-site assessments, technical surveys, and risk evaluations.
• Supervise and mentor installation technicians, ensuring adherence to best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise during the installation process.
• Perform final system checks, commissioning, and provide client training.

Requirements

• Significant proven experience as an Installation Engineer , with a track record of successful project delivery.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and control systems relevant to our products.
• Demonstrated leadership and project management skills.
• Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
• A valid UK driving license and willingness to travel as required by the hybrid schedule.
