Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and validate complex actuarial models for pricing, reserving, and capital management.
- Analyze financial data, assess risks, and provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant actuarial standards, regulations, and reporting requirements.
- Mentor and guide junior actuaries and analysts, fostering their professional development.
- Collaborate with underwriting, finance, and risk management teams on strategic initiatives.
- Communicate complex actuarial concepts and findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Requirements
- Fellowship of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (or equivalent recognized body).
- Significant post-qualification experience as an Actuary within the insurance industry.
- Expertise in life insurance or general insurance products, pricing, reserving, and capital modeling.
- Advanced proficiency in actuarial software and programming languages (e.g., Python, R, SQL).
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities.
