About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly analytical and experienced Senior Insurance Analyst to join their fully remote team, contributing to their operations in Bristol, South West England . This role is critical in providing in-depth analysis of insurance data to support strategic decision-making, product development, and performance monitoring. You will be responsible for interpreting complex datasets, identifying trends, and developing insights that drive business growth and efficiency. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth analysis of insurance data, including policy performance, market trends, and customer behavior.
- Develop and maintain complex financial models and reports to support strategic initiatives and pricing strategies.
- Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitor business performance against targets.
- Collaborate with various departments, including underwriting, claims, marketing, and product development, to provide analytical support.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior management in a clear and concise manner.
- Develop and implement new analytical methodologies and tools to enhance data insights.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an analytical role , preferably within the insurance or financial services sector.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, R, or similar.
- Expertise in statistical modeling, forecasting, and data visualization techniques.
- Excellent understanding of insurance products, markets, and regulatory environments.
- Proven ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights in a remote setting .
