About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Insurance Consultant to join their esteemed team in Reading . In this client-facing role, you will provide expert advice and bespoke insurance solutions to a range of commercial and high-net-worth clients. You will be responsible for understanding complex client needs, identifying potential risks, and designing comprehensive insurance programs. This is an office-based position that requires a deep understanding of the insurance market and exceptional client management skills, contributing to the company's reputation for excellence and tailored service.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough risk assessments and develop tailored insurance strategies for clients.
• Advise clients on policy options, coverage gaps, and risk mitigation techniques.
• Manage relationships with key clients, acting as their primary point of contact and trusted advisor.
• Negotiate terms and premiums with insurers to secure optimal coverage for clients.
• Oversee the placement and servicing of complex insurance programs.
• Stay abreast of industry developments, regulatory changes, and emerging risks.

Requirements

• Extensive experience as an Insurance Consultant or Senior Broker, with a strong understanding of various insurance lines.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex client relationships and provide strategic advice.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
• Strong knowledge of insurance markets and products.
• Professional qualifications such as ACII are highly desirable.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and manage your own client portfolio.
