About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Insurance Operations Manager to lead their operational functions from a remote capacity, with an associated office in Reading . This senior role is responsible for overseeing the efficiency and effectiveness of daily insurance operations, including policy administration, customer service, and claims processing support. You will drive process improvements, manage operational teams, and ensure the delivery of high-quality services to clients and stakeholders. This is a prime opportunity for a seasoned operations leader to shape and optimise processes within a growing insurance firm in the Berkshire region.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and optimize day-to-day insurance operations, ensuring efficiency and quality.
- Develop and implement strategic operational plans to support business objectives.
- Manage and mentor operational teams, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processes and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies across all operational areas.
- Manage relationships with third-party service providers and vendors.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in Insurance Operations Management or a similar leadership role.
- Proven track record of successfully managing operational teams and processes.
- Strong understanding of insurance products, systems, and workflows.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
- Ability to work effectively in a remote leadership capacity.
