About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Insurance Underwriter to join their team in Plymouth . This senior role involves assessing complex risks, developing underwriting strategies, and mentoring junior team members. Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• Extensive experience as an Insurance Underwriter , with a significant portion at a senior level.
• Deep understanding of commercial insurance markets, products, and risk assessment techniques.
• Proven track record of profitable underwriting results and successful business development.
• Exceptional analytical, decision-making, and leadership skills.
• Strong negotiation and communication abilities.
• Professional qualifications such as CII are highly advantageous.
