About the Role

Our client is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Interior Designer to lead creative initiatives within their practice in Wolverhampton . This role involves developing innovative and aesthetically compelling interior design concepts for a wide range of commercial and residential projects. You will collaborate closely with clients and the architectural team to translate visions into functional and beautiful spaces, guiding the design process from conceptualisation to execution. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and present innovative interior design concepts and proposals to clients.
• Lead the design process for projects, from initial brief through to final installation.
• Specify furniture, fixtures, materials, and finishes, ensuring alignment with design intent and budget.
• Create detailed drawings, mood boards, and 3D visualisations to communicate design ideas effectively.
• Manage client relationships and coordinate with contractors and suppliers to ensure successful project delivery.
• Mentor junior design staff and foster a collaborative and inspiring design studio environment.

Requirements

• Degree in Interior Design or a related field with a strong portfolio.
• Substantial professional experience as an Interior Designer , with a track record of successfully completed projects.
• Proficiency in industry-standard design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite).
• Excellent understanding of materials, finishes, and lighting design principles.
• Strong spatial planning and visualisation skills.
• Exceptional communication, client management, and leadership abilities.
