Senior Internal Auditor

Lutine Bell is conducting an executive search on behalf of a leading global investment management firm which is currently looking for a Senior Internal Auditor to join their London team.

• Hybrid: 4 days a week in the London office
• Salary: Up to £85K + commissions

Responsibilities

• Lead end?to?end audits covering portfolio management, trading, operations, risk, compliance, and finance functions
• You will deputise for the VP Internal Auditor and stand in at committee meetings as and when required
• Build strong relationships with senior management, risk, compliance, and investment teams to understand business developments and control implications
• Track remediation of audit issues and validate the effectiveness of corrective actions
• Challenge management where remediation is insufficient or delayed, ensuring timely resolution of key risks
• Mentor junior auditors, providing coaching on audit methodology, risk assessment, and communication

Requirements

• Internal audit experience, within asset management or investment banking
• Strong understanding of front?to?back investment processes: portfolio management, trading, operations, risk, compliance, and finance
• Demonstrated experience leading complex audits and managing multiple stakeholders
• Ability to use or learn data analytics platforms (e.g., SQL, Power BI, ACL, Python) to enhance audit testing
