About the Role

Our client, a leading asset management firm, is seeking a highly experienced Senior Investment Strategist to join their sophisticated team in Cambridge . This role is responsible for developing and articulating investment strategies across various asset classes, guiding portfolio managers, and communicating market views to institutional clients. You will play a critical role in shaping the firm's investment philosophy and driving superior investment performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and refine overarching investment strategies based on macroeconomic analysis, market trends, and asset allocation frameworks.
• Conduct in-depth research on global financial markets, economic indicators, and geopolitical events impacting investment performance.
• Formulate and communicate investment recommendations and outlooks to portfolio managers and investment committees.

Requirements

• Master's degree or PhD in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Extensive experience (8+ years) in investment strategy, portfolio management, or economic research within the asset management industry.
• Deep understanding of macroeconomic principles, asset allocation, and diverse financial instruments across global markets.
• Exceptional analytical, research, and critical thinking skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to sophisticated audiences and institutional clients.
