Senior IT Project Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior IT Project Manager to join their team based in Oxford . Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and closure of complex IT projects, from initiation to completion.
• Develop detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, deliverables, required resources, budget, and scheduling.
• Manage project teams, providing direction, motivation, and performance feedback.
• Effectively communicate project status, risks, and issues to all relevant stakeholders, including senior management.
• Oversee vendor and third-party contractor management, ensuring contractual obligations are met.
• Ensure project deliverables meet all quality standards and organizational requirements.

Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of professional experience in IT Project Management .
• Proven track record of managing large-scale, complex IT projects, including infrastructure upgrades, software implementations, and system integrations.
• Strong understanding of IT best practices, including cybersecurity, data management, and cloud technologies.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools, and expertise in Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; PMP or PRINCE2 certification is highly desirable.
