About the Role

Our client is actively seeking a highly experienced Senior IT Project Manager to join their progressive technology department, working remotely across the UK, with a focus on operations in Belfast . You will lead a variety of IT projects, from infrastructure upgrades to software implementations, ensuring they align with strategic business objectives and are delivered on time and within budget. This role requires a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of IT systems, project methodologies, and stakeholder management, who can drive successful outcomes in a distributed team environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of complex IT projects across the organization.
• Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, resource requirements, and budget estimations.
• Manage project risks and issues, implementing effective mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure project alignment and progress.
• Oversee the procurement and deployment of IT hardware and software solutions.
• Ensure all projects adhere to IT governance, security standards, and regulatory compliance requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT project management , with a strong portfolio of delivered projects.
• Proven expertise in managing large-scale infrastructure, software development, and systems integration projects.
• In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, PRINCE2) and tools.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working effectively in a remote team environment .
• Relevant certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile qualifications are highly desirable.
