Senior IT Project Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior IT Project Manager for a fully remote position, supporting their operations with a focus on projects originating in Reading . This role is critical for overseeing complex IT initiatives, including system implementations, software development, and infrastructure upgrades. You will be responsible for leading project teams, managing budgets, mitigating risks, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality IT solutions. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the full lifecycle of complex IT projects, ensuring timely and successful delivery within scope and budget.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, including detailed schedules, resource allocation, risk management, and communication strategies for remote teams.
• Effectively manage and mentor project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive remote working environment.
• Identify, assess, and proactively mitigate project risks and issues, implementing timely solutions to ensure project continuity.
• Engage and communicate with key stakeholders, including senior management and technical leads, providing regular project updates and status reports.
• Ensure adherence to IT best practices, governance frameworks, and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in IT Project Management , with a strong track record of delivering complex projects.
• Demonstrated expertise in managing software development, infrastructure, and/or system implementation projects.
• Proficiency with project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, tailored for a remote work environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; PMP or similar certification is highly valued.
