About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly accomplished Senior IT Project Manager to join their team in a fully remote capacity. This pivotal role involves leading large-scale, complex IT transformation projects across the organisation, ensuring strategic alignment and successful execution. You will be responsible for managing all phases of the project lifecycle, from initiation and planning through to execution, monitoring, and closure. Operating remotely, you will leverage advanced collaboration tools and demonstrate exceptional leadership to guide cross-functional teams towards achieving ambitious technological goals, contributing significantly to the company's digital evolution from any location within the UK .

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of major IT projects with significant strategic impact.
• Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and resources in a distributed team environment.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies proactively.
• Communicate effectively with executive leadership, stakeholders, and project teams, providing clear and concise updates.
• Implement and refine project management methodologies, standards, and best practices for remote execution.
• Ensure successful integration of new systems and technologies into the existing IT infrastructure.

Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive experience in IT project management , with a focus on large-scale transformations.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex IT projects in a remote setting.
• Expertise in Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid project management methodologies.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Experience with cloud migrations, cybersecurity initiatives, or enterprise system implementations is highly valued.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification is required.
