Senior Java/Kotlin Backend Engineer (Contract, Kubernetes)

Ventula Consulting is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Manchester with strong Java and Kotlin expertise and experience with Kafka. This hands-on senior contract role involves owning complex integration flows and shaping how a new team works, laying solid engineering foundations.

You will design and build backend services and APIs in Java/Kotlin (Spring Boot or similar) on Kubernetes with CI/CD, own end-to-end connectivity, and lead design discussions across the team.
