This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced joiner to join an established workshop, take on a
senior position within the team and use their technical knowledge to support the production of high

The Role
You will be responsible for carrying out a range of bench joinery and workshop duties, producing

can provide guidance and support to less experienced colleagues.
Carry out high-quality bench joinery and general workshop joinery.
Read and interpret technical drawings, plans and specifications.
Measure, mark out, cut, shape and assemble timber and sheet materials.
Set up and operate a range of woodworking machinery.

Use beam saws, milling machines and other workshop machinery.
Carry out machining and preparation of components for assembly.
Undertake veneering and other specialist joinery processes.
Assemble bespoke and standard joinery components to a high standard.
Inspect finished work to ensure accuracy, quality and attention to detail.
Work to production schedules and meet agreed deadlines.
Assist with spray shop duties when required.
Identify and resolve technical or production issues within the workshop.
Work independently while contributing effectively to the wider workshop team.
Provide practical support and technical guidance to apprentices and junior members of the team.
Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
Follow all workshop health and safety procedures.
Maintain machinery, tools and equipment to a high standard.
Work closely with colleagues to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to specification.
The Ideal Candidate
We’re looking for an experienced Senior Joiner / Bench Joiner with a strong background in
workshop joinery. This is a hands-on role, so practical experience and a good understanding
of joinery manufacturing are essential.

Good problem-solving skills and a practical approach to resolving workshop issues.
Experience working alongside or supporting apprentices and junior team members
would be beneficial.
A reliable, hardworking and hands-on approach.
