Senior Learning Technologist

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Learning Technologist to enhance and innovate their digital learning infrastructure. This role is vital in exploring, implementing, and supporting a range of learning technologies that enrich the educational experience. You will collaborate with faculty and staff to ensure the effective use of platforms such as the VLE, LXP, and other digital tools. This hybrid position based in Bristol allows for a blend of collaborative on-site work and remote development, ensuring you can contribute to the strategic direction and practical application of technology in education.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert support and training on various learning technologies and platforms.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies to enhance teaching and learning delivery.
• Develop and manage resources and guidelines for the effective use of digital learning tools.
• Troubleshoot technical issues related to learning platforms and provide timely solutions.
• Contribute to the strategic planning and implementation of the institution's digital learning roadmap.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Educational Technology, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• Significant experience working with Virtual Learning Environments (VLEs) and other digital learning platforms .
• Strong technical aptitude and ability to quickly learn new software and systems.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Experience in supporting faculty and students in using educational technologies.
