Senior Legal Counsel - Remote

About the Role

Our client is actively seeking an experienced Senior Legal Counsel to join their fully remote legal team, based out of Bradford operations. This role is critical for providing comprehensive legal advisory services across the organisation, with a focus on commercial contracts and regulatory compliance. You will contribute significantly to risk mitigation and strategic decision-making, leveraging your expertise to support the company's continued growth and operational integrity from a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide array of commercial agreements, including service, supply, and partnership contracts.
• Provide expert legal advice on data protection, intellectual property, and general corporate law matters.
• Ensure adherence to all relevant UK and international regulations impacting the business.
• Manage and resolve legal disputes, liaising with external counsel as necessary.
• Develop and update internal legal policies and procedures to reflect best practices and legal changes.
• Support business development and operational teams by providing timely and practical legal guidance.

Requirements

• Qualified solicitor or barrister with at least 6 years of relevant legal experience, ideally with a strong background in commercial law.
• Demonstrated expertise in contract drafting and negotiation.
• Comprehensive knowledge of UK commercial law, regulatory compliance, and data privacy.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a diverse workload in a remote environment.
