About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and driven Senior Lettings Negotiator to lead their busy lettings department in Wolverhampton . This role requires a proactive individual with a proven track record in securing new instructions and successfully letting properties. You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end lettings process, building strong relationships with landlords and prospective tenants, and driving business growth within the local market. The ideal candidate will possess excellent negotiation skills and a deep understanding of the rental market in Wolverhampton and surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new lettings instructions through proactive business development and client relationship management.
- Conduct property valuations and advise landlords on achievable rental values and market conditions.
- Manage the tenant application process, including viewings, referencing, and contract negotiation.
- Ensure properties are let efficiently and effectively, meeting landlord expectations and targets.
- Provide excellent customer service to both landlords and tenants throughout the letting process.
- Mentor and support junior members of the lettings team.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a lettings negotiator or similar role.
- Proven ability to win new business and achieve lettings targets.
- Excellent understanding of the Wolverhampton rental market and relevant legislation.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with property management software and standard office applications.
- Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle.
