Key Responsibilities
- Analyse complex logistics data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) for logistics operations, including cost, speed, and reliability.
- Create detailed reports and dashboards to visualise data and communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Evaluate existing logistics networks and recommend changes to optimise routes, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
- Collaborate with operations teams to implement recommended changes and monitor their impact.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging technologies in logistics and supply chain management.
- Support strategic decision-making with data-driven insights and forecasts.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Logistics Analyst, Supply Chain Analyst, or in a similar analytical role.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and data visualisation software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Excellent understanding of logistics and supply chain principles .
- Strong quantitative and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex data to non-technical audiences.
- Experience in a hybrid working environment and familiarity with the Oxford business landscape is a plus.
