About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and highly organized Senior Logistics Coordinator to join their dynamic team. You will be instrumental in ensuring the efficient flow of goods, optimizing delivery routes, and maintaining strong relationships with carriers and suppliers. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all aspects of the logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service levels across the supply chain.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
- Monitor shipment progress, identify potential delays, and proactively resolve issues to minimize disruption.
- Analyze logistics data to identify trends, measure performance, and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers and negotiate contracts to ensure competitive pricing and service quality.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Logistics Coordinator or in a similar logistics management role.
- Strong understanding of supply chain management principles, transportation modes, and international shipping regulations.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Proficiency in logistics software and inventory management systems.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively remotely.
- A Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
