About the Role

Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Logistics Coordinator to join their dynamic team in Newcastle upon Tyne . You will be responsible for coordinating shipments, managing carrier relationships, and resolving any logistical challenges that may arise. Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage all inbound and outbound logistics activities, including transportation and customs clearance.
• Negotiate rates and contracts with carriers and third-party logistics providers.
• Track shipments and provide regular updates to internal stakeholders and customers.
• Resolve logistical issues and disruptions proactively to minimize delays and costs.
• Maintain accurate records of all shipments and associated documentation.
• Collaborate with procurement, sales, and warehouse teams to ensure seamless supply chain operations.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics coordination or a similar supply chain role.
• Strong knowledge of shipping regulations, customs procedures, and international trade compliance.
• Proficiency in logistics software and MS Office Suite.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
