Our client is seeking a talented Senior Machine Learning Engineer with a specialization in Computer Vision to join their innovative team in Cardiff . Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, train, and deploy sophisticated computer vision models using state-of-the-art deep learning techniques.
- Implement and optimize algorithms for image and video analysis, including object detection, classification, and tracking.
- Collaborate with software engineers to integrate machine learning models into production systems and applications.
- Conduct rigorous experimentation and validation of models to ensure performance, accuracy, and robustness.
- Process and analyze large datasets of visual information, ensuring data quality and relevance for model training.
- Stay current with the latest research and advancements in computer vision and machine learning, applying new techniques to ongoing projects in Cardiff .
Requirements
- Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with a focus on machine learning or computer vision.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in developing and deploying machine learning models, with a strong emphasis on computer vision .
- Proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Keras.
- Solid understanding of image processing techniques, geometric vision, and deep neural network architectures (CNNs, Transformers).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and MLOps best practices.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a passion for building cutting-edge AI solutions.
