About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and innovative Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join their expanding team in Birmingham . Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain production-grade machine learning systems and pipelines.
• Develop and optimize algorithms for tasks such as prediction, classification, and anomaly detection.
• Collaborate with data scientists to prototype and validate new ML models.
• Deploy ML models into production environments, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Monitor and maintain deployed models, implementing retraining and updates as necessary.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, adhering to software engineering best practices.

Requirements

• Master's degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in machine learning engineering or a similar role.
• Proficiency in Python and common ML libraries such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
• Strong understanding of data structures , algorithms, and software design principles.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Demonstrated ability to work with large datasets and build scalable ML solutions.
