About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, train, and deploy machine learning models using Python and ML libraries (e.g., Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Develop and maintain scalable ML pipelines for data processing, feature engineering, and model evaluation.
• Optimize model performance, conduct hyperparameter tuning, and implement robust testing strategies.
• Collaborate with data scientists and software engineers to integrate ML models into production systems.
• Monitor deployed models, identify drift, and implement retraining strategies as needed.
• Contribute to the architecture and design of ML infrastructure and MLOps practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in machine learning engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Python and experience with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras.
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software development best practices.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and ML services.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a hybrid model, with strong communication abilities for the Belfast team.
