Key Responsibilities

- Process, clean, and analyze large and complex biological and chemical datasets to extract meaningful features and insights.
- Collaborate closely with medicinal chemists, biologists, and computational scientists to integrate ML solutions into research workflows.
- Evaluate model performance, conduct rigorous validation studies, and ensure reproducibility of results.
- Stay current with the latest advancements in machine learning, deep learning, and their applications in the life sciences.
- Communicate findings and technical strategies effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences in a remote setting.
Requirements
- PhD or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, Bioinformatics, or a related quantitative field.
- Extensive experience (6+ years) in machine learning, with a focus on deep learning and predictive modeling.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and relevant ML libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
- Strong experience working with large-scale datasets, including biological, chemical, or clinical data.
- Demonstrated ability to apply ML techniques to solve complex scientific problems.
