About the Role

Our client is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Make-up Artist and Beauty Consultant to lead their beauty counter services in Glasgow . This dynamic role requires a blend of artistic skill, exceptional client advisory capabilities, and a passion for luxury beauty. You will be responsible for creating stunning make-up looks for clients, providing personalized consultations, and driving sales through expert product knowledge and engaging customer service. As a senior member of the team, you will also contribute to training junior staff and maintaining the highest standards of presentation and client experience within a premium retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert make-up application services for various occasions, from everyday looks to special events.
• Conduct detailed skincare and make-up consultations, assessing client needs and recommending suitable products.
• Demonstrate product features and benefits, and provide application techniques to customers.
• Achieve and exceed sales targets through exceptional customer engagement and effective selling strategies.
• Maintain the visual merchandising and cleanliness of the beauty counter, ensuring an appealing presentation.
• Mentor and coach junior beauty advisors, sharing expertise in make-up artistry and client service.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a professional Make-up Artist, with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse looks.
• Extensive knowledge of cosmetic products, brands, and application techniques.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales goals in a retail environment.
