About the Role

Our client is seeking a creative and experienced Senior Make-up Artist to join their dynamic team in Bristol . This role involves providing high-end make-up artistry for various clients, including editorial, bridal, and special events, as well as potentially mentoring junior artists. You will be expected to showcase a broad range of techniques and styles, maintain impeccable hygiene, and work collaboratively with clients and photographers to achieve desired looks, all within a professional and inspiring creative setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert make-up application for a diverse clientele, including bridal, fashion, and special occasions.
• Consult with clients to understand their desired look, preferences, and event requirements.
• Create bespoke make-up looks, from natural and elegant to dramatic and avant-garde.
• Maintain an immaculate kit and ensure all tools and products are clean and hygienic.
• Stay current with industry trends, new products, and make-up techniques.
• Potentially assist in training or guiding junior make-up artists on specific projects.

Requirements

• Professional make-up artist qualification or equivalent industry experience.
• Minimum of 4 years' experience in a professional make-up artistry role.
• A diverse portfolio showcasing a range of make-up styles and applications.
• Proficiency in various skin types, tones, and ages.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to make clients feel comfortable.
• Strong understanding of colour theory and its application in make-up.
