Senior Make-up Artist

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly creative and experienced Senior Make-up Artist to join their team in Sheffield . You will be responsible for providing exceptional make-up services for a variety of clients, including bridal, editorial, and special events. This role requires a deep understanding of current trends, advanced techniques, and a passion for enhancing natural beauty. You will also have opportunities to mentor junior artists and contribute to the salon's artistic direction.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of make-up applications, including natural, glam, bridal, and special effects.
• Conduct client consultations to understand their needs and preferences, offering expert advice.
• Maintain a comprehensive kit of high-quality make-up products and tools, ensuring hygiene standards are met.
• Stay updated on the latest make-up trends, techniques, and product developments.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior make-up artists.
• Collaborate with photographers, stylists, and clients to achieve desired looks for photoshoots and events.

Requirements

• Professional make-up artist certification or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a professional Make-up Artist.
• Strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of make-up styles.
• Excellent knowledge of skin types, undertones, and corrective techniques.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends as required for events.
