About the Role

Our client is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Make-up Artist to work on a hybrid basis, serving clients in Oxford and undertaking remote consultations and digital content creation. This role is ideal for a creative professional with a diverse portfolio, including editorial, bridal, and special occasion make-up. You will be responsible for providing exceptional make-up artistry services, advising clients on looks, and potentially collaborating on digital beauty content. The role requires a strong understanding of current trends, excellent client communication, and the ability to adapt your skills to various needs, working within a dynamic and flexible professional arrangement.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide bespoke make-up application for clients for various occasions, including weddings, events, and photoshoots.
• Conduct thorough consultations to understand client preferences and desired looks.
• Create and execute high-fashion, editorial, and conceptual make-up looks.
• Maintain impeccable hygiene standards for all make-up tools and products.
• Collaborate with photographers, stylists, and other creatives on projects.
• Potentially contribute to online content creation, tutorials, and remote client consultations.

Requirements

• Professional certification or extensive experience in Make-up Artistry.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience as a professional Make-up Artist.
• A strong, diverse portfolio showcasing a range of make-up styles and applications.
• Expert knowledge of make-up products, tools, and application techniques for various skin types and tones.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively, both on-site and remotely.
