About the Role

Our client, a prominent name in the beauty and wellness industry, is seeking a highly skilled and creative Senior Make-up Artist to join their team on a contract basis. This role involves creating stunning looks for a variety of clients, potentially for editorial, commercial, or personal events. You will leverage your extensive knowledge of cosmetic products and application techniques to enhance features and bring creative visions to life. Based remotely but serving clients locally, you will manage your schedule and projects with a high degree of autonomy, contributing to the brand's aesthetic appeal.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute make-up looks for various client needs, from natural beauty to high fashion.
• Conduct consultations to understand client requirements and preferences.
• Select and apply appropriate make-up products and tools to achieve desired effects.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked professional make-up kit.
• Stay abreast of the latest make-up trends, techniques, and product innovations in the cosmetics field.

Requirements

• Professional certification or equivalent experience as a Make-up Artist.
• A strong portfolio showcasing diverse make-up artistry skills.
• In-depth knowledge of skin types, tones, and various cosmetic brands.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients.
• Ability to work flexibly and manage time effectively for remote and in-person assignments related to our Sunderland client base.
