Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts, providing variance analysis and commentary.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processes.
- Oversee the accurate and timely completion of the accounts payable and receivable functions.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the finance department, enhancing efficiency and controls.
- Collaborate with department heads to understand business performance drivers and provide financial guidance.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- ACMA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar management accounting role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting techniques.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience working within the UK accounting landscape.
