Senior Manager, Global Operations & Logistics

About the Role

Our client is seeking a strategic and experienced Senior Manager, Global Operations & Logistics to lead their international operational and supply chain functions. This role is fully remote, allowing you to manage and optimize global logistics from anywhere in the UK. You will be instrumental in streamlining operations, enhancing efficiency, and ensuring the seamless movement of goods and services across borders, contributing significantly to the company's global reach and success within a fully distributed team structure.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement global operational and logistics strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Oversee all aspects of international supply chain management, including freight, warehousing, and customs.
• Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers (3PLs) and other partners.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for global operations and logistics.
• Identify and implement process improvements to optimize delivery times and inventory management.
• Lead and mentor a remote team of logistics and operations professionals.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in global operations and logistics management .
• Proven track record in optimizing international supply chains and reducing costs.
• In-depth knowledge of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and freight forwarding.
• Strong negotiation skills and experience managing 3PL relationships.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience working effectively in a fully remote, international team environment.
