Senior Manager / Manager - Newton Abbot Salary DOE

I'm currently recruiting for a Senior Manager to join a well-established accountancy practice in Newton Abbot. They are also open to considering a strong Manager who is looking for their next step.

This is a varied role working closely with a Partner and managing a portfolio of sole traders, partnerships and limited companies , with responsibility across accounts, tax, VAT, client management and team development.

The role would suit someone who enjoys working closely with clients and wants to take on more responsibility within a supportive practice. There is also potential for a pathway to Partnership in the future .

The ideal candidate will have:

• ACA/ACCA qualified
• Strong accountancy practice experience
• Experience across accounts preparation and business/corporate tax
• Ideally some personal tax experience
• Strong client management skills
• Previous team management or supervisory experience
• Good communication and organisational skills
