Senior Manufacturing Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join their dynamic team on a remote basis. This role is critical for driving innovation and continuous improvement in manufacturing processes and product development. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing advanced manufacturing techniques, ensuring the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise and a proven track record of leading complex engineering projects from conception to completion, contributing significantly to the company's strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and validation of new manufacturing processes and technologies.
• Optimize existing production lines for increased throughput, reduced waste, and enhanced quality.
• Develop and implement robust Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) and Control Plans.
• Collaborate closely with R&D, Design, and Quality Assurance teams to ensure manufacturability of new products.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior manufacturing engineers.
• Troubleshoot complex manufacturing issues and implement effective long-term solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in manufacturing engineering , with a focus on process development and optimization.
• Expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt preferred), and statistical process control (SPC).
• Proficiency with CAD software and experience in implementing automation and robotics.
• Strong project management skills and the ability to lead cross-functional teams in a remote setting.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication abilities.
