Senior Manufacturing Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join their team in Liverpool . This role is vital for optimizing production processes, improving product quality, and increasing manufacturing efficiency. You will apply your engineering expertise to develop and implement innovative solutions, working closely with production teams to troubleshoot issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities

• Analyze manufacturing processes to identify opportunities for improvement in efficiency, cost reduction, and quality enhancement.
• Develop and implement new manufacturing techniques, equipment, and technologies to meet production goals.
• Lead troubleshooting efforts for production issues, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
• Design, fabricate, and implement tooling, jigs, and fixtures to improve production efficiency and product quality.
• Collaborate with design engineering to ensure manufactured products meet design specifications and are cost-effective to produce.
• Train production personnel on new processes, equipment, and safety procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in a manufacturing engineering role.
• Proven experience with Lean Manufacturing principles, statistical process control (SPC), and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of machining, assembly processes, and material science.
• Experience with CAD software and manufacturing simulation tools.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills, required for the Liverpool site.
