About the Role
Our client, a leader in advanced manufacturing solutions, is seeking a highly experienced Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join their dynamic, fully remote team. This pivotal role involves spearheading the development and optimization of manufacturing processes from design inception through to full-scale production, with a strong emphasis on innovation and efficiency. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including design, R&D, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless integration of new products and technologies into our manufacturing pipelines. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of advanced manufacturing processes and systems for new and existing product lines.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of production data to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, cost reduction, and quality.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive process documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and work instructions.
- Collaborate with R&D and product design teams to ensure manufacturability and scalability of new product designs.
- Oversee the installation, validation, and continuous improvement of manufacturing equipment and automation technologies.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to production staff to foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in manufacturing engineering , with a proven track record in process design and optimization.
- Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and statistical process control (SPC).
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM software and experience with simulation tools for process modeling.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fully remote , collaborative team environment.
