About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and oversee the construction of marine vessels and offshore structures, ensuring compliance with maritime regulations.
• Manage and maintain propulsion systems, auxiliary machinery, and onboard systems for optimal performance and safety.
• Conduct structural analysis and integrity assessments for hull structures and components.
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules and repair strategies for marine assets.
• Oversee the installation and commissioning of new marine equipment and systems.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of marine engineers and technicians.

Requirements

• Degree in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related maritime field.
• A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in marine engineering , with specific experience in offshore or renewable energy projects.
• Strong knowledge of naval architecture principles, ship design, and marine propulsion systems.
• Experience with Classification Society rules and regulations (e.g., Lloyd's Register, DNV).
• Proficiency in CAD and relevant marine engineering software.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
