About the Role

Our client is looking for a dedicated and experienced Senior Massage Therapist and Holistic Practitioner to join their serene wellness retreat located in Sunderland . This role demands a deep understanding of various massage modalities and holistic therapies, coupled with the ability to provide clients with deeply therapeutic and restorative experiences. You will play a key role in curating treatment plans, ensuring the highest standards of client care, and contributing to the peaceful ambiance of the facility. This is an ideal position for a seasoned therapist passionate about promoting well-being and offering comprehensive holistic services within the Tyne and Wear region.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide a wide range of therapeutic massage treatments, including deep tissue, Swedish, aromatherapy, and hot stone massage.
• Conduct client assessments to understand their specific needs and tailor treatments accordingly.
• Offer complementary holistic therapies such as reiki, reflexology, or sound healing.
• Maintain accurate client records, treatment notes, and ensure a clean and tranquil therapy environment.
• Contribute to the development of new wellness programs and treatment packages.

Requirements

• Professional qualification in Massage Therapy (e.g., ITEC, VTCT) or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years' post-qualification experience in massage therapy.
• Certification or proven experience in at least two holistic therapies beyond massage.
• Excellent knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and contraindications for massage.
• Strong communication, empathy, and client care skills.
