About the Role

Our client, a luxury spa in Belfast , is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Massage Therapist to join their wellness team. This role involves providing a comprehensive range of therapeutic massage services, mentoring junior therapists, and contributing to the overall guest experience. You will play a key role in maintaining the spa's reputation for excellence in therapeutic treatments and client care. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of anatomy and physiology, coupled with a passion for holistic well-being.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, and hot stone therapy.
• Conduct thorough client assessments to tailor treatments to individual needs and health conditions.
• Provide expert advice on post-treatment care and lifestyle improvements to clients.
• Mentor and train junior massage therapists, sharing expertise and best practices.
• Maintain meticulous client records and ensure the highest standards of hygiene and sanitation.
• Contribute to the development of new spa treatment offerings and protocols.

Requirements

• Recognised professional qualification in Massage Therapy (e.g., ITEC, VTCT).
• Minimum of 5 years' experience as a practising Massage Therapist, with at least 2 years in a senior capacity.
• Expert knowledge of various massage modalities and their therapeutic benefits.
• Excellent palpation skills and a strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology.
• Professional, empathetic, and dedicated to client well-being.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
