About the Role

Our client, a well-regarded wellness center in Southampton , is looking for an experienced and empathetic Senior Massage Therapist to join their dedicated team. This role involves providing a variety of therapeutic massage treatments, guiding clients towards holistic well-being, and contributing to the center's serene and professional atmosphere. Key Responsibilities

• Perform a diverse range of massage modalities, including deep tissue, Swedish, sports, and hot stone massage.
• Conduct client assessments to understand their needs, medical history, and tailor massage treatments accordingly.
• Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and provide advice on self-care and stretching.
• Maintain a high standard of professionalism, hygiene, and client confidentiality.
• Assist in the development and promotion of new massage services and packages.
• Potentially provide guidance and support to junior massage therapists within the team.

Requirements

• Diploma or certification from an accredited massage therapy program.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a Massage Therapist.
• Proficiency in multiple massage techniques and a strong understanding of anatomy and physiology.
• Excellent client communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a wellness-focused team.
