About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging, effective mathematics lessons aligned with the national curriculum and specific student needs.
• Provide individualized tutoring and support to students, identifying areas of difficulty and implementing targeted intervention strategies.
• Assess student progress through regular testing, assignments, and continuous observation, providing constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with department heads and other educators to share best practices and contribute to curriculum development.
• Mentor junior tutors and assist in training new teaching staff on effective pedagogical approaches for mathematics.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and progress.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years' experience in teaching or tutoring mathematics at a secondary or tertiary level.
• Proven track record of improving student academic performance and engagement.
• Strong understanding of diverse learning styles and adaptive teaching methodologies.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
