Key Responsibilities

• Lead the mechanical design and development of automotive components and systems, such as powertrain parts, chassis elements, or thermal management systems.
• Create detailed 3D CAD models and 2D manufacturing drawings, adhering to strict automotive industry standards (e.g., IATF 16949).
• Perform advanced engineering analyses, including structural, thermal, and fatigue analysis, using simulation tools like ANSYS or Abaqus.
• Collaborate closely with vehicle integration teams, suppliers, and manufacturing engineers to ensure seamless design and production.
• Oversee prototype development, testing, and validation processes, interpreting results and driving design iterations.
• Contribute to concept development, technology scouting, and innovation initiatives within the automotive sector.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline, with a specialization in automotive engineering.
• Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in mechanical design, with a significant focus on the automotive industry .
• Expert proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., CATIA V5, Siemens NX) and advanced CAE/FEA tools.
• Deep understanding of automotive materials, manufacturing processes (stamping, casting, machining), and DFM principles.
• Experience with automotive specific standards, testing methodologies, and product development cycles.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
