About the Role

This role is focused on the design and development of critical mechanical systems for major infrastructure projects, including transportation, utilities, and construction. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of mechanical systems for large-scale infrastructure projects using CAD and simulation tools .
• Conduct detailed engineering analysis, including stress, thermal, and fluid dynamics calculations.
• Prepare comprehensive design documentation, specifications, and tender packages.
• Liaise with project managers, stakeholders, and contractors to ensure design alignment with project objectives.
• Oversee and review the work of junior engineers and design technicians.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant industry standards, codes, and health and safety regulations.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in mechanical design engineering, with significant experience in infrastructure projects.
• Expertise in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit) and structural analysis software (FEA).
• Strong understanding of materials science, construction methodologies, and project lifecycles in infrastructure.
• Proven ability to manage complex design tasks and coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams.
