About the Role

Our client is seeking an accomplished Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join their dynamic team in the heart of London . This pivotal role involves leading the design and development of innovative mechanical systems and components, from initial concept through to production. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the conceptualization, design, and development of complex mechanical systems and assemblies.
• Create detailed 3D CAD models and technical drawings using industry-standard software.
• Perform rigorous stress analysis , thermal analysis, and other simulations to validate designs.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, R&D, and project management teams to ensure seamless product development.
• Develop and implement testing protocols to verify design performance and reliability.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineering staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in mechanical design and product development .
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, AutoCAD).
• Strong knowledge of materials science, manufacturing processes, and engineering standards.
• Demonstrated experience with FEA and CFD analysis tools.
• Excellent communication and project management skills.
